What is Pharmacogenomics?
Pharmacogenomics is the study of how genes affect a person’s response to drugs.

Pharmacogenomics (PGX) Testing:

  • Is a genetic test (oral cheek swab) that is used to determine a person’s genetic makeup and how a person will metabolize medications.
  • This information assists doctors in prescribing the correct dosages of medications the first time.
  • It greatly reduces the chances for adverse drug reactions (ADR’S)
  • It is a one time test for each patient.
  • It enhances the patient outcomes and improves their overall health.
  • It is an approved test by Medicare, Medicaid and most all other insurances.
